Tinnitus Retraining Therapy
I’m here to talk to you about the solutions to tinnitus problems. I think this is one of the most difficult conditions to have to live with, not because there is anything unhealthy about it, but because it is such an annoying and frustrating condition to have. Imagine hearing an annoying ringing sound and trying to live your life, it would drive you mad.
Most people can’t really understand because when faced with an annoying sound they can always turn it off or walk away, but anyone with tinnitus 
cannot do that. There is no mute button or place to run to hide. I want to share with you the solution to tinnitus problems, so you can get past this.
Loud noises like music or the bang of a gun could induce a ringing sound in your ear for the next hour. That is sort of what tinnitus is like, but only permanent. It is these loud noises over time that will end up causing this condition. If it is the loud environment of war that causes this condition in many veterans.
It is loud work environments like some construction jobs that will cause this condition. There are other reasons people can get this like ear infection or ear wax build up, but all of these are a lot less common.
The solution to tinnitus problems has two different approaches. There is a psychological method that is risk free. Through various psychological methods you can train your mind to ignore the ringing sound. It’s something that will eventually become an automatic response, but it does take sometime to perfect.
The other solution is surgery, which is much more risky. They will have to operate on both ears and this can be quite expensive.
